Get ready for the official start of summer, as The Galileo Open Air Cinema returns this October with a star-studded line up for the twelfth season of iconic movie magic. Tickets are now live and the excitement is through the star-studded roof!

Enjoy The Galileo experience from Kirstenbosch right through to Stellenbosch!
Experience The Galileo screenings on weekdays at Kirstenbosch Garden – Newlands and selected Fridays at Central Park – Century City. On Saturdays The Galileo will screen at alternating Wine Estates across Paarl, Franschhoek, Stellenbosch, Somerset West, and Constantia.

NEW: Student Discount Ticket

Pensioner Discount Ticket
Senior citizens (60+ years old) can book a Warm & Comfy ticket for only R120, that is an R30 discount! When purchasing your tickets on Webtickets, you will have the option of selecting a “Pensioner Ticket” which will require a valid I.D. during booking and with you on the night to validate. Please note that senior discounts are only valid for online purchases and will not be granted at the door.
Free Birthday Ticket
From 1 November to end April when The Galileo Open Air Cinema screens movies – the Birthday special can be redeemed. The Birthday Special is not applicable for Special Screenings such as Halloween, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Valentine’s Day and Easter –Shows.

The Galileo is more than just a movie screening; it’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in the summer ambience with lively music, breathtaking views, games and more. Once the doors open, you’ll have plenty of time to settle in and secure your spot on the lawn. Enjoy a scrumptious pre-movie picnic with various food options available. Tickets can be purchased online, starting from R140 per person. Doors open at 6 PM on weekdays, and 5 PM on Saturdays, with the movie starting after sunset.
