Drive In Rentals

Finding the venue for your drive-in cinema is your responsibility. We can do this at parking lots, fields or anywhere that cars can drive onto (we prefer a large, open grassy area if possible). Bear in mind that poles, trees and wires block the view so pay attention to these obstacles. For roughly 80 cars, we would need a total space of about 100m x 80m – less for less cars and more for more cars. We operate only in Cape Town or within 100km from Cape Town city centre, not further.

If you would like us to do a site visit before confirming with a venue, our fee for inspections is a non-refundable R500, payable upfront. Alternatively, we can chat and confirm via Whatsapp video.

We provide the movie and pay the license fee to show it to the public, however, each movie has different guidelines so we cannot guarantee that we may show any movie at all. It is therefore a good idea to give us at least three options in case your first choice is not approved. Getting license rights can take a few weeks too so the sooner you let us know your selection, the better and kindly note that we only apply for licensing once the 50% deposit has been paid. Please do not advertise the movie until you have confirmation from our side that the title has been approved.

Rental: R22 500 ex VAT
Travel: R4,50 ex VAT per km for venues further than 30km from Gardens, Cape Town

Terms & Conditions

• Payment of 50% required at time of booking and balance of 50% two weeks before the show takes place.
• Cancellations within 4 weeks of show incur a 25% fee, within 3 weeks of show a 50% fee, within 2 weeks of show a 75% fee and within 48 hours a 100% fee.
• You will need a back-up date in case we have to cancel due to inclement weather. Date changes do not incur any additional fees, as long as the move is confirmed before 11am on the day of the show.
