What happens if it rains or it’s very windy? |

In the event of inclement weather (strong wind or rain), the show will be cancelled. You will receive an SMS and email notification (sent to details provided during booking) as soon as a decision has been made. This email will contain all the details you need to claim your exchange/refund. Kindly note that no exchanges/refunds will be made after 7 days of the cancelled show.

What is the refund/exchange policy? |

Can I bring my own chair or backrest? |
|
Unfortunately no private chairs or backrests are allowed into the movie area, but a backrest is included in your ticket price.
Please contact us on 071 471 8728 should you have any medical condition that would require a private chair.
Can I bring my own blankets and cushions? |

Yes, you can!
Is there access for wheelchairs? |
|
All our venues have wheelchair access. Upon entering the movie area, please contact the manager on duty who will give you some options of where you can sit without obstructing the view of other guests. Please let us know if you need assistance on the day as our staff will be more than happy to assist you.
Is smoking allowed? |
|
Kindly note that smoking, including electronic cigarettes and vaping, is not allowed anywhere except at the designated smoking area, which is always in full view of the screen.
What time do the gates open? |
|
Doors open at 6pm. We recommend arriving early to reserve a good viewing spot on the lawn and enjoy your delicious food and drinks.
What time does the movie start? |
|
Depending on the time of year, this will be any time from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. Please visit our Movies page for specific movie times. These times will also be clearly noted on your ticket.
Can I bring my dog along? |
|
Please note that no dogs are allowed at the shows.
How much do tickets cost? |
|
Tickets cost R290 per person and include entry, backrest, blanket, welcome drink, appetiser and small popcorn. Please visit our Tickets page to book.
How do I collect my ticket? |
|
All ticketing is handled by Webtickets. As soon as you purchase your ticket online, you will receive an email with your ticket. You can have your ticket scanned off of your mobile device, provided that the barcode is visible, or if you must, you can print the ticket out and have it scanned that way. Please do not forget either your paper ticket or smartphone as we won’t be able to let you in without one of these.

You can pay for your tickets online with Mastercard, Visa, Amex or Diners Club card.
I don’t have a credit card, can I still purchase a ticket? |
|
Sure. You may also pay via EFT, Debit Card or Cash Deposit when purchasing your tickets online through Webtickets, or in-store at any Pick n Pay store. Alternatively, you can purchase your tickets at the door, provided that the screening is not sold out.
Where can I find photos that were taken at the show? |
|
All photos will be uploaded to our Facebook page within 7 days of the screening.
Can I purchase my ticket at the door? |
|
Yes, you can! Scan to pay or credit card options available. No cash. Subject to availability.
What food and drinks are available and can I bring my own? |
|
Each venue will provide delicious food & drinks available to purchase on location. Please visit the Food page for specific information about items sold at each venue.
At The Galileo Royale, you may not bring your own food & drinks into the venue.
What happens to lost property? |
|
Lost property will be kept for four weeks, after which it will be donated to charity. Email us should you have lost something at The Galileo.
What about parental guidance for movies? |
|
Some of our movies have age restrictions or parental guidance. We display this information on our website purely as additional information and ask parents to assess whether their children are old enough to watch an age-rated movie.
Rated G: General Audiences – all ages admitted.
Rated PG: Parental Guidance Suggested – some material may not be suitable for children.
Rated PG-13: Parents Strongly Cautioned – some material may be inappropriate for children under 13.
Rated R: Restricted – under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian.
Can I display a message on the screen? |

We do offer this service to guests planning to propose, and celebrating a birthday or anniversary. For proposals, you are able to create your own video/slideshow – please follow these guidelines to arrange this momentous occasion. We use a standard template for birthdays and anniversaries so please email the name/s of the relevant person/s to hello@localhost/galileo_master/picnic by midday Monday the week of the screening latest.
My ticket includes live music performance. What time will this be? |

The live music performance will start at 6:30pm and end at 7:30pm.
