The Galileo Open Air Student Special

The Galileo Student ticket is a discounted ticket for tertiary students. The Galileo season runs from 15 October 2025 to 16 May 2026.

Students from tertiary education institutions that are registered with Varsity Vibe can book a Warm & Comfy ticket for only R155 – that’s a R25 discount! 

Important fine print

• The Student Special Ticket is available to purchase for all shows, except for Special Screenings such as Halloween (31 Oct), Halloween (01 Nov), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter Friday, Easter Sunday, LIVE, and Royale –Shows.

• The Student Ticket includes your movie entry, backrest and blanket.

• When purchasing your tickets on Webtickets, you will have the option of selecting a “Student Ticket” which will require a *Varsity Vibe code during booking, if you are not registered with varsity vibe – click here to register for free: www.varsityvibe.co.za.

• Book your Student ticket online in advance as there are limited Student Tickets available per show.

• Student tickets may be purchased at the door, only if you have registered with Varsity Vibe and obtained the discount code for the student special ticket. Additionally, tickets will be available for purchase at the door only if the show has not sold out online. Once a show is sold out online, no tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

• The Varsity Vibe code can only be redeemed once for one Student Ticket per show.
