Blockbuster faves meet Bokbuster action
This November, The Galileo Open Air Cinema is turning up the excitement with a season packed full of fresh concepts, fan-favourite films, and unforgettable outdoor moments. From blockbuster movie magic to Bokbuster rugby action, November brings a dynamic mix of new premium experiences, family fun, and festive favourites—all set against the iconic backdrop of Cape Town’s most scenic venues. Whether you’re craving a luxe night out, high-energy fan spirit, or a nostalgic classic under the stars, The Galileo has curated the ultimate summer lineup to elevate every outing.
New concept November
The Galileo Open Air Cinema has brought back its premium offering, the Galileo Royale. Royale shows take place once a month at Nederburg in Paarl and Norval Foundation in the Constantia Wine Valley. These shows are more intimate with a smaller capacity, and are themed with a curated menu including canapés, a welcome drink, popcorn and a main meal. Prepare to treat yourself and a loved one at a Royale evening meant to impress.
Watch the Bokke LIVE on the big screen for one last time in November as the back-to-back champs take on the fighting Irish on Saturday, 22 November. Book your tickets for a family-friendly day out supporting our boys in green and gold at Central Park in Century City. Expect the kids to make friends and play touch rugby, the sweet smell of boerie rolls and chips, burgers, a stocked bar and more!
The Galileo Classics
Besides the new concepts, watching a classic movie in an exciting outdoor location is still the essence of the #GalileoUnderTheStars experience. This month’s spectacular line up of movie screenings are perfect for romantic dates, birthday celebrations, gatherings with friends, or year-end parties. Kids, adults and tweens – check out the schedule to enjoy a range of films such as Dirty Dancing, Love Actually, Mamma Mia, The Greatest Showman and many more.
