Doors open at 5 PM for Special Shows such as Kids Halloween (30 Oct), Halloween (31 Oct), Christmas Eve (24 Dec), Christmas Day (25 Dec), Valentine’s Day (14 Feb), Easter Friday (26 Mar) and Easter Sunday (28 Mar). Always check your ticket for the exact Doors Open and Movie Start times.

- At Central Park, you’re welcome to bring your own picnic food, snacks and drinks (but no alcohol)
- At participating wine estates, food restrictions may apply, and guests may not bring their own alcohol. This is the perfect opportunity to sample and support the estate’s food and wine offerings.
- The Galileo mini-market also offers a selection of meals, snacks and beverages to enjoy before and during the movie.

“I always want to create an Insta-worthy picnic spread, but I often end up runing out of time and arrive with a bag of chips, dip and a cool drink instead. Fortunately, my family loves the comfort food from the vendors, and sharing a pizza and nachos is easy and convenient. “I try to arrive when the doors open so we can enjoy the sunset. I also make a point of taking photos of our group, or waving down The Galileo photographer, because it’s often the only chance I get to be in the family photo too!”

Movie start times vary throughout the season because the screen can only light up once the sun has set and the evening sky becomes dark enough.
Golden hour gradually gives way to sunset, the stars come out, and then the movie begins. Check the Movie Starts time printed on your ticket so you can plan your evening accordingly.

“When attending with toddlers or tweens, arrive while it’s still light. Check the movie’s start time and make a point of getting the kids to move around before the screening by browsing the vendor stands, playing lawn games, taking pics, and dancing to the music. Then chill and enjoy your picnic spread. “At children’s shows, The Galileo often includes fun on-screen sing-alongs and dance-alongs. When the MC announces last orders for food, use it as your cue for one final loo break before the movie begins.”
